5 Pros And Cons Of Using Invisible Braces

My teeth were one of my insecurities growing up. I had a gap between my upper front teeth, making it hard to smile during photos. Even if I wanted to show my teeth because they suited me better, I did not have confidence. I told my parents if I could get braces to fix the issue. Good thing they agreed, considering my pleas about it. Clean aligners in Singapore were what I had at that time, and they worked for me well. You can also get the same if you have dental issues.

5 PROS AND CONS OF USING INVISIBLE BRACES

Invisible braces in Singapore are one of the known services in dental clinics because of their benefits. But like other things, it also has disadvantages that you need to know. Checking them was one of the things I did not do, so there are things I did not expect would happen. Avoid experiencing the same by researching, especially if you get confused between metal and invisible. To help you, here are some of the advantages and disadvantages I learned:

PRO: NO ONE WILL EASILY NOTICE THAT YOU ARE WEARING IT

No one will notice you are wearing invisible braces, considering the name. It does not have colour, unlike the rubbers used on metal braces. You will be more confident to smile at the camera because of this. It is one of the many reasons I chose this service.

CON: YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THE TIME WHEN TO WEAR IT

Wearing the invisible brace means you need to follow the number of hours you will wear it. In your first weeks, wear it for at least 22 hours. I followed this rule because my dentist told me my teeth needed to adjust with the brace. It was hard at first because I could not eat anything I liked.

PRO: IT CAN FIX DIFFERENT DENTAL PROBLEMS

The purpose of wearing braces is to fix dental concerns and make you confident in showing your teeth. But before getting this service, ask a professional first about what you need to do and what problems it fixes. My younger sister also needed one, but the one we talked to was a pediatric dentist in Singapore.

CON: INVISIBLE BRACES CAN BE COSTLY

Braces can be costly, whether you will have a metal or an invisible one. It was one of the things we asked the dentist before getting their services, and you should do the same. If you are not on a tight budget, check the scaling and polishing services.

PRO: YOU CAN REMOVE IT ANYTIME NEEDED

Another good thing about this is you can remove it anytime. However, you must know when to wear it again because it can affect the result. You might also notice that the improvements come slower.

Remember many things before doing something with your teeth, and here are some. These pros and cons made me more aware, and these can also help you decide if you will get the treatment or look for another one. Asking your dentist is helpful, especially if you do not know what to do and how to start. If you are also interested in the dental implant in Singapore, visit the website of Thomson Dental Centre.
