The novel coronavirus or COVID-19 has shown us how important it is to wash our hands, maintain physical distance, and wear a mask to keep ourselves and others safe. But many people are confused to find out the right mask for themselves.

Well, the masks are differentiated according to their materials and to find the right one for you try to identify for what situation you need a mask. But wearing a mask all the time can cause breathing problems, claustrophobia, and some other problems that are harmful to your body.

Also, avoid wearing masks that are made of fleece because a medical study suggests that wearing a fleece mask will increase the release of respiratory droplets in the air, which means it can infect another person.

Here are a few things to consider before picking a face mask:

    Best fitting:

The most important thing when selecting medical face masks is its fitting but not much constricting. If the mask fits you correctly then it’s the right mask. Also, make sure that the mask should cover your nose and mouth, and there should be no gap on the side of your face and cheeks and it should be fit over the nose bridge or else it will make your glasses foggy. This guidance is provided by the doctors.

    Breathability:

“Good health is not something we can buy. However, it can be an extremely valuable savings account,” said Anne Wilson Schaef, an American clinical psychologist and author. She is author of When Society Becomes an Addict a New York Times bestseller and was nominated for Best Political Book of the Year.

Well, if you want to find comfort in your mask then you must opt for a multi-layered mask that is mostly made from woven cotton, cotton-polyester, or linen. The multi-layered mask can provide you with better filtration to air pollution and can help you get comfortable breathing. Stay away from masks that are made of fleece because fleece masks do not prevent respiratory droplets and it does not even filter bad quality layer like multi-layered masks. The mask that provides you with clean and comfortable breathing is the right mask for you.

    Moisture-wicking:

Masks that are made from soft stretchy material like polyester or spandex will reduce the formation of moisture inside the mask and offer you cool breathing.

    Easy to put on:

If you have a mask that easily fits you and it has earloops then use those earloops to tighten your mask so that it does not fall off every often.

The UV Face Mask can be the best option for selecting the right mask as it is ideal for anyone who wants to keep their breathing safe from any potential viruses or bacteria. UV Face Mask is reusable, meaning you’ll never have to worry about running out of disposable masks.
