A survey has found that one in three women would never leave the house without wearing make-up and nearly twenty-three percent reapply their make-up within three hours of being out. Many British women thought that facing the world without their face on is the matter of nightmares

More than one third of women surveyed stated that they were more concerned about looking good for other women than impression the men. It proposes that women’s affection to their cosmetics could be less about vanity and more about wishing to enhance their confidence.

The survey also found that thirty percent of women confess that their beauty regime is on their minds as last thing  at night and sixteen percent admit that it is the first thing they dwell on in the morning. One in five women adopted their beauty regime directly from their mother.

According to psychologist Dr Linda Papadopoulos, who has led studies into the emotional impact of skin disorders, it is though that happy skin is healthy skin and how you feel is inherently associated with how you look. If you feel like you look your best then it gives you a much more positive outlook in life.

Almost a third of women in Yorkshire, admit that putting their makeup on is the most important part of the day. While, women in the north west of the country think about how they look at least once an hour is more than any other region. The survey was conducted for TV shopping channel QVC.

This study proves what they have always supposed, that women love to look their best, explained Sue Leeson, marketing director of QVC. At QVC they know that every woman is an individual and offer a whole range of products to make her look and feel great, as well as offer expert tips and advice to know what works best for her.
