It is often believed that handsome men and beautiful women are sacred with lucky lives. However, through new study of its kind researchers have shown that these people are wittier than most of the people. The various studies done in Britain and America have found that handsome people have IQs fourteen points above standard.
It seems that handsome people attract partners who are not only good looking but are intelligent too, found a study by the London School of Economics. The kids of these couples will be likely to inherit both traits. It builds a hereditary connection over succeeding generations between them.
In the study which was based on the National Child Development Study which followed more than seven thousand people since their birth in a single week in March 1958. All through their infancy up to early adulthood, they were provided a sequence of tests for scholastic progress, intellect and marked on manifestation.
The lead researcher Satoshi Kanazawa told the Sunday Times that physical attractiveness is significantly positively associated with general intelligence, both with and without controls for social class, body size and health. The connection between good looks and general intellect is also sturdier among men in comparison to women.
The British study found that males who are physically good looking had IQs about thirteen and half points above the normal whereas in females it eleven and half points higher. Some other study found that middle class girls likely to have higher IQS than their proletarian counterparts.
Their disputation that beautiful people are more intelligent is purely scientific. It is not a prescription for how to treat or judge others, added Kanazawa, whose paper was published in the academic journal Intelligence.
