The survey of new study claims that pregnant women who regularly use mobile phone could raise the risk of behavioral problems in their children. It was revealed that children those were exposed to mobile phones while in the womb had a thirty percent rise in behavioral complications, when they reach at the age of seven.
The finding by research team from California explained that kids, who used mobile phones but those were no exposed while in the womb, were twenty percent more prone to show abnormal behavior. They warn that children should not use mobile phones. In a study, over thirty thousand youngster, their mothers gave information on diet, lifestyle and surroundings during and after pregnancy.
The details on the health of their children and usage of mobile phone were also recorded. About three percent of children scored abnormal behavioral issues where as other three percent were on borderline. More than ten per cent of children exposed to mobile phones in the womb had mothers who talked on mobile no less than four times a day.
The results of the studies had demonstrated that cell phone usage was linked to behavioral problems at age of seven. The social aspects like mother paying more attention to mobiles than their children were partially to blame. They are worries that early exposure to cell phone could bring a risk, stated researcher Dr Leeka Kheifets.
A leading government adviser on the radiation effects of mobile phones, Prof Lawrie Challis, has smitten with record saying children should not use them until aged no less than twelve. But more than half of under-tens have their own mobile.
