In a new study researchers have found that a spoonful of vinegar a day may enhance the levels of HDL- good cholesterol in your body. In a study trail researchers found that people who consume apple cider vinegar for the period of eight months had enhanced levels of HDL cholesterol.
But in comparison, people those consumed placebo, did not have had improved levels of HDL cholesterol. The clinical trial was undergone in Minnesota in the US, observed more than one hundred and twenty people. Half of the participants were given apple cider vinegar, while others were given placebo containing a two percent balsamic vinegar solution in water.
A separate study which was based on animal suffering diabetes had already shown that apple cider vinegar lowered the levels of LDL- bad cholesterol that is the major cause of various cardiovascular diseases and kidney failure and improve the levels of HDL-good cholesterol.
Apple cider vinegar is well known a common kitchen remedy for arthritis and gout. It has already been shown to lower blood sugar levels and reduce appetite. It is also considered that vinegar speeds up the processing of fats in food products.
