Many attempts have been made to ease teenager from the misery of acne and till now nobody have used seaweed. Researchers have found that energetic constituent from a type of brown seaweed it seems that, found only of the coast of Brittany. Brown seaweed can provide solution to problem of spots and oily skin.
It is heaved from the seabed and converted into an extract that is used in treatment of acne. Many clinical trials have shown that cream made up of extract of seaweed had optimistic and significant impact claimed the producers of OXY range, Mentholatum.
In a study trail that involve sixty males, aged twelve to twenty-four with mild form of acne. They used the OXY products that contain seaweed extract. It was found that those were considerably more effectual than any face wash scrub or gel.
They reduce the number of spots and problem areas and they rein in the inflammation and reddishness with fourteen days of use. The OXY products are largely designed for teenage boys and young men, with nine out of ten suffering from problem of skin triggering due to male hormone testosterone.
The results were tremendously good. Patients suffering from mild to moderate acne like whiteheads, blackheads and skin redness, had reduced their symptoms distinctly and there were no side effects, explained Professor Enzo Berardesca the trail leader.
