Among those people eighteen people had high level of vitamin D and are less vulnerable to influenza virus linked health problems. Researchers also found that some people who had very low level of vitamin D in their body fall sick very easily from cold and other infections.
At the same time as investigating the significant of sunlight to fight against influenza virus their team also found that people with vitamin D level equal to thirty-eight nanogram per millimeter or more had fifty percent less chances of developing allergy.
The results of the study which explained the benefits of sunlight in preventing influenza and allergy have also explained the causes of why the people living in South America are less vulnerable to health problems associated with cold as compared to people living in North America.
