Common problems experienced during pregnancy

Pregnancy is a period when your body goes through number of changes. If you are not aware of such changes then your mind will fill with unnecessary worries. Certain changes can make women to worry if they are going through normal phase and due to lack of awareness some women keep on thinking if their symptoms are normal or they should call the doctor. Here are explained the normal symptoms of pregnancy and when should you call the doctor.

Experiencing Stabs of pain : During pregnancy many women experience minor stabs of pain in their abdomen which is quite normal. The discomfort and pain is caused due to pressure applied by the growth of uterus on other parts of the abdomen. If you feel unbearable pain in abdominal region then it is a cause of worry and you should call for the doctor.

Experiencing cramps : During pregnancy some women may experience cramps in legs which is common and you may also feel slight pain that can last for few days. Some women also feel sudden stretch in the morning time. This is generally caused due to additional weight that you are carrying and you can handle it with little exercise as prescribed by your doctor.

Experience spotting : Spotting can be frightening during pregnancy for most of the women but there is nothing to fear unless it comes with pain. It is an indication that pregnant woman needs more rest. Some light spotting may take place approximately when you normally expect your cycle. You should inform your doctor even spotting is usual.

Experiencing high blood pressure : During pregnancy the blood pressure of some women shoot up however minimum intake of salt can bring down the level of blood pressure to normal. Some times high blood pressure can cause blurry vision, in such case you should immediately visit to your doctor.

Experiencing low level of hemoglobin : During pregnancy some times you hemoglobin level becomes little low and when it becomes too low then you feel weak, dizzy and look pale. Generally your doctor recommends you with some iron supplements. You can also make efforts to eat foods that are rich in iron such as whole grain, green vegetables, sweet potatoes, fruit juice and chicken.

Above said problems are generally faced during pregnancy, other than above said problem it is worthwhile to consult your doctor.
