Treat Conjunctivitis with natural remedies

Conjunctiva is a membrane that covers the front of the eye. When there cause an inflammation in conjunctiva then it is known as conjunctivitis. Conjunctivitis is very common problem of the eyes that is communicable in nature and can spread through touch. Due to inflammation underside of the eyelid and eyeball get agitated. There is itchiness in eyes and eyes become red and some time there is watery secretion from the eyes.

In more sever cases formation of pus is occurred and become dry while sleeping that causes eyelids to stick together. The problem of conjunctivitis is viral, bacterial and some times caused due to strain on eyes. There are various natural remedies to cure the problem and here is explained some natural remedies to cure conjunctivitis.

1.  To reduce inflammation of eyes you can do fomentation of cold water on eyes. Fold a towel and soak it in cold water then squeeze out the excess water from the towel and place the towel on the eyes. Repeat the process when towel become warm.

2.  Another remedy to reduce pain, swelling and burning sensation of eyes is by making a concoction of dried leaves of coriander with fifty ml of water for washing your eyes. This concoction should be carefully used to asthma patient.

3.  Another remedy to get relief in conjunctivitis is intake raw juice of various green vegetables such as carrot and spinach. Take three hundred ml of carrot juice and add two hundred ml of spinach juice to it and drink this mixture. It is wonderful remedy for conjunctivitis.

4.  Another juice that is found useful in conjunctivitis is juice of Indian gooseberry mixed with some amount of honey. You can take this juice twice a day to get relief in conjunctivitis.

5.  Intake of vitamin A and vitamin B is also proved useful to cope up with conjunctivitis. The best source of vitamin A are milk, butter, papaya, carrot, mango, tomato and green and leafy vegetables. The rich source of vitamin B are, citrus fruits, banana, tomato, orange, curd, milk and green and leafy vegetables.

Above all you can practice some eye relaxation exercises to reduce acuteness of conjunctivitis like gentle movement of eyes or palming your eyes for relaxation. These relaxation exercises can reduce the pain and irritation caused by conjunctivitis.
